Princes Gardens was historically a gated development, and, with the approval of the Princes Gardens RTM Company Directors, the old decommissioned vehicle gates are being removed and replaced with new sliding gates. These gates will be more sturdy and secure than the previous installation, with the aim of not only bringing an element of control and security back to the development, but also the gates themselves being more secure and less susceptible to vandalism. The pedestrian gates will also be brought back into full operation.
The project to replace the vehicle gates is underway and is near completion, along with the reinstatement of the pedestrian gates.
When entering the development, the vehicle gates will be operated by a remote fob. The fobs are operated by a simple push button.
When leaving the development, the gates will automatically open on approach.
- Drive towards the gates slowly and stop
- The gates will automatically open
- Please ensure the gate is fully open before proceeding through to exit
Please ensure you have your vehicle fob with you at all times as this will be needed to gain access into the development, the gates WILL NOT open without it.
Your vehicle fob or code will only open the vehicle gates. Please ensure the appropriate reader is used to gain access. Pictures are below for your reference. Signage is now also in place to highlight the correct reader / keypad to use.
The pedestrian gates will be operated by a key fob. The fob should be presented to the reader to release the gate, and will be required for both entry and exiting the development. Please ensure you have your pedestrian gate fob with you at all times, the pedestrian gates WILL NOT open without it.
As per the lease, each property has a single allocated car park space. Please do not use any parking spaces other than the one that is allocated to your apartment. If you do not know which bay is allocated to your apartment, please submit a ticket to enquire. Visitors spaces are clearly identified by a “V” marking.
Below is the allocation of fobs for each apartment
- 1 x vehicle gate fob
- 2 x pedestrian gate fobs (3 bed apartments will receive 3 fobs)
Your pedestrian fob or code will only open the pedestrian gates. Please ensure the appropriate reader is used to gain access. Pictures are below for your reference. Signage is now also in place to highlight the correct reader / keypad to use.
Please Note: Additional pedestrian fobs can be requested after you have received your initial allocation. No additional requests can be fulfilled until the initial allocation has been delivered. Additional pedestrian fobs carry a cost of £23 + VAT.
As each apartment only has one allocated parking bay, no additional vehicle fobs will be granted to a property, only replacement vehicle fobs will be allocated. If a new vehicle fob is is requested, the old one will be cancelled. Vehicle gate fobs carry a cost of £62.54 + VAT.

Access for Non-Residents
Access via both the vehicle and pedestrian gates is available via fob entry only. Any visitors to the site, couriers or utilities contractors etc. that you may be expecting should be greeted at the gates and granted access via your fob. They should also be advised to park in one of the clearly marked visitors bays.
In addition to your vehicle gate fob, you will also be provided with a car park permit to apply to your vehicle windscreen. Please ensure this permit is displayed at all times to avoid your vehicle being identified as unauthorised, and only park in your allocated parking bay. As stated above, please ensure visitors park in the dedicated visitor bays to avoid being identified as unauthorised in a dedicated apartment parking bay. Regular visitors such as essential care providers will be provided with a means to access the development and parking permits. If you arrive at the development and find a vehicle is parked in your allocated parking bay, please submit a ticket.
Any unauthorised vehicles parked within the development will be given two weeks notice to remove via a note placed on the windscreen. Should the two weeks pass and the vehicle has still not been removed the vehicle will be towed away. Please do not tamper with the gates or any of the mechanics. Not only is this a danger to life, there is also a risk of damaging the gates and making the site vulnerable. We will actively seek prosecution against any individual caught tampering with the gates. CCTV is installed throughout the development and is closely monitored at all times. If you notice any evidence that the gates have been tampered with, please submit a ticket.
In the unlikely event that both the vehicle and pedestrian gates fail ie. you are locked into the development, please call Rebloom Block Management. The contact number is displayed inside each block.
